Is There Any Unique Sequence That Can Never Be Drawn?

Are you a lot into lottery games? Do you like picking lottery numbers? Are from those people who believe that numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6 have never been drawn in a lottery game and will never be drawn in the future also? You feel that it is impossible to draw this sequence. Is it really so?

The simple answer to why these numbers have never been drawn in a lottery that the odds in this game are astronomical. The probability of any series of numbers being drawn out in a 6/49 lottery are around 1- in-14 million. This means that the sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6 has odds equal to the odds of any other such sequence being drawn. Let’s for example take the series 7-12-46-30-2-8. The second set of numbers look more realistic while the first set of numbers look very memorable. The problem with the human mind is that we tend to look for patterns where there are none. The series 7-12-46-30-2-8 look very normal just like the numbers that are generally drawn so we believe that they could be drawn. Though, the fact is that even such a series might never be drawn just like 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Just to prove this point we checked the exact same sequence of numbers against the earlier results of the 6/49 lottery in Canada, this lottery is drawn twice in a week and has been like this for more than 25 years. This means it has drawn more than 2600 times. You can do the same with any sequence of your choice. Using the two sets of numbers four best matches were found. This happened exactly for the same number of times twice for both sets of numbers. This means that you can win approximately the same amount if you play both sets of numbers twice for 25 years. One of those draws was found to be 1-2-3-4-13-14 which was very close to actually hitting the 1-2-3-4-5-6 sequence.

So what we want to tell you is that there is no special unique sequence that can never be drawn as the probability of any set of number to be drawn is equal.
